Best indian by far! Always great food and great service you'd have to go far to beat their currys. I always get the prawn purri it's simply delicious- any excuse I can find to order food or go in I can. Keep it going- well done you definatley deserve your ratings. From: Chris Wilson 15/09/2009 18:28 I been to last week into the restaurant. It was a very nice experience as a night out with my wife. The food was excellent and service was nice. All the staffs were really nice to us. One of your staff i forgot the name he was a bit skinny and short hair.. he is Manager of this restaurant. He was helped us out with taxi's to go home. I would like to thank to all the staff of Tandoori Nights. We will make sure to visit again in your place. From: Paul 01/10/2009 14:22 I've been coming here since I was 16 (17 years) and I love the place, the people and especially the food. I now bring my 3 yo son along and he loves it just as much, especially when they give him a lollipop. We're emmigrating to Australia in January and apart from my good friends and family the only thing I'll miss about Runcorn is Tandoori night. Recommended by Mary (30th October 2006) This Runcorn restaurant is an excellent find. Mr Ahmed Miah and his well trained staff go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal. That the restaurant has been established over 25 years shows how well appreciated it is by local clients. It is next to the Brindley Arts Centre and has ample parking. I love the vegetable curry and freshly made naan bread. Try this restaurant or order a takeaway, you won't be disappointed. Recommended by Ed (13th September 2006) I have tried many Indian Restaurants and never found one to beat Tandoori nights in Runcorn. The food is excellent, you can tell they only use best quality ingredients. I have tried most of the special dishes on the Menu, Balti Exotica being a particular favourite Recommended by Mr Mccann's Favourite (26th August 2006) I just love this place. The Restaurant is however in Runcorn and not Widnes as described. The food is amazing. Ali, the head chef does a mean Rogan Josh / Kahari Curry and the best homemade chips in the world Mr McCann and Mr Chadwick can vouch for that. The prices are very resonable and I can recommend with confidence. We will be back |

THE family-run Tandoori Night restaurant is one of Runcorn’s longest established Indian eateries. The owners here boast a wealth of experience – they’ve been serving curries to people in and around the Runcorn area for more than 35 years. But the restaurant recently underwent a grand makeover to ensure its age doesn’t show – and the focus here is firmly on serving the tastiest curries at the most reasonable prices. There’s plenty to choose from and the friendly staff will be willing to help you make up your mind. They frequently recommend their chicken vindaloo - for £5.70 - but there are plenty of other choices if you don’t quite have the nerve. The special balti exotica is worth a try at £9.35 and the chef’s special silsila is a popular dish for the same price. A pint of Cobra will set you back £3.20 at Tandoori Night and you can buy a bottle of wine from around £9. If you decide to drive to the restaurant there’s a free car park conveniently situated behind the restaurant. There’s also a few good takeaway deals on offer at Tandoori Night too. If you spend more than £10 you will receive the free poppadoms and chutney but if you spend more than £30 you will receive a free bottle of wine. |
